The Food Safety Branch in Qalyubia Governorate carried out 8 inspection campaigns on 80 food establishments in the areas of (Banha, Toukh, Shebin El-Qanater, Qalyoub, Qaha), and the campaigns resulted in the destruction of a quantity of expired food products that had expired. The Food Safety Branch in Menoufia Governorate implemented 19 inspection campaigns on 84 food facilities in some cities, centers and villages. These campaigns resulted in the seizure of a quantity of various food products that had expired and were unfit for human consumption. The Food Safety Branch in Badr City carried out several inspection campaigns, where 90 food establishments were visited, which resulted in the seizure of 890 kg of expired food products of unknown origin (juices, Dairy, soft drinks, meat…and other products), and all of these products were destroyed in the presence of a committee of inspectors from the National Food Safety Authority.
