Abdel Baqi confirmed that she deliberately made the idea of ​​the film simple so that she could focus on the directing details, especially since she takes the style of realism as an approach in her work. This is in addition to her feeling that she was given a great opportunity at a young age, and this does not happen easily to others, so she chose for the heroes to be young people like her. So that you can express them better, in addition to giving space to talented young people who may not have this opportunity often.

The movie “Who Believes” witnesses the participation of the great star Ashraf Abdel Baqi as a guest of honor during the events, where Zeina confirmed that her father has always been keen to support young people throughout his artistic history, as this has always been his approach to life, and she said: “My father is my greatest supporter and supporter, and despite Although I was hesitant about this step, he encouraged me and convinced me to take it, and even when I felt afraid and nervous, especially during filming, as it was my first feature-length novel experience with a large team, his presence always reassured me and increased my confidence.

Zeina pointed out the amount of freedom her father granted her without his interference in any details, and said: “Dad was the nicest person on set, and he did not interfere or comment on anything. He was a good listener regarding any specific details I requested in filming the scene, but despite that, I was “I’m nervous about his presence just because I want him to see the best of my directing abilities.”

She continued that the same thing happened with the star Sherif Mounir, where she said: “I thank him for his support for me and for accepting to participate in my film. It is a great honor for me to have his name in my project, and despite the friendship that has united our family for a long time, he was very appreciative of my work and reveres me.” “It is a good idea to respect the director and his instructions, in addition to his strict commitment to deadlines, and to give his best performance.”

She added: I studied directing professionally in New York, took many courses in London, and began my work journey at the age of fourteen, but I had no desire to work abroad, and every detail I learned abroad had to be learned in the Egyptian way, especially since we offer cinema that expresses About us This was the most difficult thing about it, and the truth is that I learned a lot here because I love Egyptian cinema and I want to be part of this ancient industry.

As for the star Sherif Mounir, he expressed his happiness with the experience of the film, emphasizing his desire to support and encourage new energies, and said: Although my role is not large in the film, I was excited to try Zeina and participate with the young faces in the film because they need support and help, and Zeina is the daughter of my friend Ashraf Abdel Baqi. Like my daughter, the truth is that I found her to be an educated and open-minded person, with a vision, point of view, and ambition.

He added: “I dealt with Zeina as a professional director because she really had good preparation for her project, and even when I was discussing with her some of the details that I wanted to present in a certain way, she would stick to her point of view, which I respect, and she would convince me of it.”

He continued: “In addition to the fact that I was impressed by her choice of two young heroes, this is the natural development for new energies to emerge in cinema, and the truth is that Youssef Omar and Jayda Mansour are two distinguished faces and they were working with the utmost strength and energy, especially since the entire team behind the camera was made up of young people, which allowed them more freedom and I was I am very happy with them, and I confirm that Youssef Omar is the birth of a new star. He is an athletic boy, has a sweet appearance and acts naturally, and Jayda is an actress who has good acting capabilities, but they definitely need support in the next stage.”

Youssef Omar expressed his pride in working with director Zeina Abdel Baqi, stressing that he felt great pleasure that he had never experienced before during the filming period, stressing that she is one of the directors with whom he felt most comfortable working because she understands the actor well and pays attention to his small details before the big ones, which is an important and rare thing in the world. The current time, in addition to her having a conscious directorial vision, gave him great confidence in working with her.

On the other hand, Youssef Omar confirmed that the presence of two big stars, such as the artist Ashraf Abdel Baqi and Sherif Mounir, in the film represents a great addition, thanking them for the support he received from them at all levels. She knows very well when to implement her point of view or listen to the points of view of others, and the truth is that part of Zeina is distinguished by her acting background, as she received many acting workshops in addition to her studies in directing, which made her able to deal more professionally with the actor.

Jayda expressed her happiness with the participation of big stars such as the star Sherif Mounir and the artist Ashraf Abdel Baqi in the film, stressing that she was lucky to stand in her first starring role in front of them, as she learned a lot from them in paying attention to the details of the character in addition to the support they provided to her and her partner Youssef Omar throughout the period. Mustafa added that they worked under psychological pressure because they were young and had to prove themselves, but the reactions he received when the film was shown at the festival were wonderful, and there was constructive criticism from which they benefited.

Mustafa thanked the director, Amir Ramses, because in addition to being a dear friend of his family, he was very supportive and insisted on seeing the drafts. Abu Al-Anwar said that Zeina made him watch the scene in which the eyes would be in the background, then they entered the studio and worked on it, where he wrote it in about 4 hours, and he is very happy.
