The memorandum of understanding focuses on exchanging experiences in the fields of training imams and preachers, developing religious education curricula, and enhancing the exchange of specialized scientific research in the sciences of Islamic law, which opens new horizons for enhancing common religious awareness and promoting cultural rapprochement.

This signing comes within the framework of a shared vision for the future of Islamic cooperation, and to strengthen the existing bilateral relations between Egypt and Malaysia in various fields, thus contributing to establishing a culture of peace and coexistence.

The eighth Hadith Council was held to read “Sahih Imam al-Bukhari” with its chain of transmission, under the patronage of the Minister of Endowments, and under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Rahim al-Bayoumi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, after the afternoon prayer in the Imam al-Husayn Mosque (may God be pleased with him) in Cairo.

An elite group of hadith scholars from Al-Azhar University participated in the council, including: Dr. Sobhi Abdel Fattah Rabie; Professor of Hadith and its Sciences, and Dr. Muhammad Abdel Fattah Al-Desouki; Assistant Professor of Hadith and its Sciences, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Ramadan Abdul Majeed; Teacher of Hadith and its sciences, in a step aimed at consolidating the foundations of Hadith sciences through Azhar curricula.

The Ministry of Endowments held 90 systematic lessons for female preachers in the mosques of the Republic, within the framework of supporting and enhancing the role of women in advocacy activities, in addition to expanding the participation of female preachers in advocacy work, in confirmation of their vital role in spreading religious, cultural and social awareness, and contributing to enhancing the values ​​of coexistence and community peace.

On Monday, November 11, Dr. Osama Al-Azhari approved the decision to renew the loan of six of the Ministry’s imams to work in the field of preaching and guidance with the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments in the United Arab Emirates, as the imams continue to perform their mission of preaching in promoting enlightened religious awareness.

This step comes within the framework of enhancing cooperation and cultural and religious exchange between Egypt and the Emirates, and in continuation of the role of the Ministry of Endowments in spreading the values ​​of moderation and moderation.

First – in the field of Quranic activities:

Third – in the field of mosque architecture:
The Ministry of Endowments opened 38 mosques nationwide, including 24 mosques for replacement, renovation, or new construction, and 14 mosques for maintenance and development.

Fourth – In the field of charity and community service:
The Endowments distributed 10 tons of the Ministry’s sacrificial meat in the governorates of Gharbia, Kafr El-Sheikh, Beni Suef, Minya, and Matrouh, bringing the total distributed since June 20, 2024 AD to date, to 283 tons of meat.
