The preliminary financial results for the fiscal year 2023-2024 appear, and the results achieved during the fiscal year 2022-2023 compared to the results achieved during the previous year. The total revenues of the holding company, according to preliminary indicators for the fiscal year 2023-2024, amounted to 4.117 billion pounds, compared to total revenues amounting to 1.953 billion pounds in the year 2022-2023, and compared to total revenues amounting to 1.480 billion pounds in the year 2021-2022, an increase of 111% and 178% over The previous two years in a row.

The final net profit for the fiscal year 2023-024 is 3.223 billion pounds, compared to 1.380 billion pounds for the year 2022-2023, and compared to 1.185 billion pounds for the year 2021-2022, an increase of 134% and 172% over the previous two years, respectively.

The net profit of the subsidiaries reached 10.551 billion pounds in the year 2023-2024, compared to 6.668 billion pounds in the year 2022-2023, and compared to 3.283 billion pounds in the year 2021-2022, an increase of 58% and 221% over the previous two years, respectively.

2- Maritime transport activity: The National Navigation Company, with its fleet, succeeded in securing the transportation of wheat imported to Egypt. For commercial operation, it is equipped with the latest modern technical technologies in terms of machines, generators, and advanced navigational devices.

The company also purchased the ship Wadi Al-Arish to the naval fleet with a total tonnage of 82 thousand tons. It is considered the jewel of the national commercial fleet due to its distinguished equipment and navigational devices with the latest international technologies and models, and also for its compatibility with environmental requirements. The length of the ship is 229 meters, width is 32 meters, and draft is 14.5. meters, and the ship supports the Egyptian commercial fleet in the operations of securing and transporting strategic goods coming to the Arab Republic of Egypt, especially wheat, on behalf of the General Authority for Supply Commodities. The company was keen to contract to build a number of new ships and restructure the system for evaluating and appointing marine crews on ships with the use of ERP applications. Verson. 4- Warehousing activity inside and outside the customs department: The Egyptian General Warehouse Company establishes, manages and exploits public warehouses, squares and free zones. 5- Shipping agency and customs clearance activity: Al-Qanat Shipping Agencies Company, within the framework of restructuring efforts after transferring its affiliation to the Ministry of Transport, reactivated the shipping agent activity, expanded the warehousing activity, and opened new work areas in the activity of providing logistical services. Restarting the Al-Arish branch to provide the company’s services to clients. 7- Passenger transport activity: The Holding Company for Sea and Land Transport is affiliated with (3) companies working in the field of transporting passengers between governorates, which are (Egypt Transport and Tourism EG BUS – East Delta Transport and Tourism – West and Central Delta Bus Transport and Tourism) providing their services for transporting passengers between governorates. The Republic has regular lines with various levels of service, buses equipped with modern technology, and passenger stations spread throughout the governorates of the Republic.

-Contracting to supply 100 Yutong buses produced by Al-Nasr Automotive Company, with a total amount of 1.050 billion pounds, 50 buses for each of the East Delta and West and Central Delta companies.

– Reconfiguring and raising the efficiency of 382 buses in stages, in addition to raising the efficiency of service stations and maintenance workshops.

8- The Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport contributed to the capital of Acta Public Transport Company, which provides a passenger transportation service within the Administrative Capital with 50 buses running on clean electric energy. 9- Goods transportation activity: The Holding Company implemented procedures to restructure the five goods transportation companies affiliated with the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport and merged them into the Nile Goods Transport Company to create a strong entity capable of providing goods transportation service with the highest standards of quality and efficiency required, which led to an increase in the quantity of goods transported. Consequently, the revenues achieved – according to the preliminary results for the fiscal year 2023-2024, total revenues amounted to 234 million pounds, compared to 178 million pounds for the year 2022-2023, an increase of 35% over the previous year.

11-In addition to the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport contributing to many diversified companies as follows: Egyptian Maritime Transport Works Company (Martrans) – South Valley Development Company – Egyptian Group Company for Multi-Purpose Terminals – Egyptian Fund for Finance and Investment Documents Company – Arab Maritime Company For transporting petroleum – as well as newly established companies such as the Egyptian Company for Logistics Zones, the Suez Canal Company for Seaports Development, the Berenice Sea Port Company, and the Jarjoub Sea Port Company, which work in various activities (logistics services – management and operation of cargo and container handling stations – management, operation and maintenance of sea ports. etc).

The Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport is also in the process of obtaining three quality certificates: ISO 9001 – 2015 / ISO 45001 – 2018 / ISO 14001 – 2015.
